Friday we left Peoria headed for the mighty Mississippi. We had been told to expect a long trip with not much to see but nature, and boy were they right. We never realized that there was still so much undeveloped riverfront in the United States, but we saw plenty of it! At one point we were excited just to see a pile of turtles on a log!
