This is the lighthouse at the pier entering the harbor in Michigan City, Indiana. We are spending the night here before going on to Chicago in the morning. We traveled 100 miles today, and have now broken the 1000 mile mark for travel. Amelia is joining us in Chicago for the weekend, and we are looking forward to that. We also received good news- The Coast Guard has decided that it's ok for boats to go through the electric fence on the Illinois river without being towed. We still have to get their approval to do so, but at least it won't cost us $500.00!!! For our friends on the East coast- we are now in a different time zone- one hour behind you.
